Welcome to the homepage of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Spirit Council #11922. Chartered on 19th of February 1997 with the encouragement of the then pastor, Fr. Ready, our council continues to serve the people of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Annandale, Virginia, with the blessing of our parish administrator, Fr. Terry Specht. Who are the Knights of Columbus?

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal organization that exists to strengthen the life of faith among Catholic men by providing occasions for them to serve Christ, the Church, the community and the world. Developing the virtues of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism in men is its central purpose.

  • CHARITY: Loving Christ in our neighbors through works of service.
  • UNITY: Working together in a spirit of charity and good will.
  • FRATERNITY: Strengthening men so that families grow stronger.
  • PATRIOTISM: Promoting faithful citizenship and good government locally and nationally.

Awards: Knights of the Month & Family of the Month

When the Church was still young, the Great Apsotle, Saint Paul encouraged the early catholics to take note of the gifts, talents and service that each Christian brother or sister contributed to the well-being of the Church. Each month, each The Knights of Columbus council across the USA selects a member Knight and a family in their host parish or parishes who manner of life embodies in a particularly compelling way the ideals of the fraternity in an effort to do just that.
